We also had the Joy of recording interviews with the cast. Jakub brought his microphone and Me and Lindsey were being interviewed answering questions about our film and characters. This was very exciting and put our production on a real life scale. Whilst Jakub edited these interviews that we recorded,Me,Lindsey and Seren worked on creating even more Foley Sounds. This was an also lengthy process as Garage Band has a wide selection to choose from. However we found the sound we needed and added them to our soundtrack. Nonetheless we also encounted issues. We wanted to sync our Foley sound to our sequence and we had realised we had forgotten to add a scene in our sequence. When we tried to add this clip when we tried to play back the sequence the our canvas on Final Cut Pro turned black. This issue occurred to every clip that we tried to add onto our timeline. We once again had to call the IT technician to sort this issue out.
Further more we also recorded voice overs as the dialogue in our title sequence is very cut and the way the movie has been cut some dialogue has been lost in the process. I personally didn't not think voice over work was needed but watching the title sequence back i can see why it is needed to be added. Having said i am not sure how the voice over will play back in Final Cut Pro I have a strong feeling that it will appear out of sync and sound like a poorly dubbed movie. Hopefully on Thursday it will come out successful and professional.
In addition to interviews i also took pictures to show evidence of filming which Seren has uploaded to her FLICKR account.
On Thursday me and my group plan to film the final sequence and import this into Final Cut Pro and import the rest of the Foley sounds. We may have to stay behind the lesson in order for the film to be finished in time for the deadline on Friday.
