Initial ideas

We had planned to do a high school drama as we felt we could relate to the theme and so will have many ideas. Though our thoughts were very limited and lacked depth.

Ideas/Final Ideas

1.High school drama based around the typical story - girl meets boy, boy meets girl , boy falls in love with girl.We intended to convey this through a musical format. Inspired by the story of High School Musial.We were to convey the typical stereotypes of social groups. The 'popular it girl' 'The jocks' and 'The Geeks'. However we weren't quite sure how we would convey an original script that was entertaining.

2.Also our second idea was to create a film based drastic transformation of a character. To me this was loosely based around the concept of Princess Diaries;-from geek to chic. Our main character was set to be a geek without any friends who aspires to become a model. Through the film we see him get a complete makeover.However we were not comfortable filming within the college as we felt it make the film appear tacky and unprofessional and thus we couldn't find an ideal location so that the film could look like a professional high school drama. Therefore we scrapped the  idea.


Our final idea is what i think to be loosely based on the blockbuster Inception. Its a youth drama and is titled 'MirrorDream' Its main protagonist features a boy with the ability to read minds and also lives within his dreams as they seem to be somewhat better than real life.
