Planning : Summarise how to create sound tacks in garage band

Creating Soundtracks in Garage Band.

A brief introduction was given to us on how to create soundtracks on garage band. Although we don't intend to import/make soundtracks through garage band as we intend to use copyright free music ,it was still helpful to know and we may use garage band for non digetic element,such as footsteps or rain or even breathing.

How to create sounds. By selecting ''new project'' you can select from a choice of piano,loops and keyboard collection. Through this you'll be given a selection of sounds to choose from. By selecting one and dragging it to your canvas the making of your soundtrack begins. To extend the specific sound all that is needed to do is to hover over where you have placed your chosen sound to create a desired loop. To add  layered sound ie a guitar with a drumbeat in the background you'll need layer another sound below where you have placed your original sound. An example of this is evident in the image shown.
