Production: Blog Post 43 - Production Diary (Reflection) Interview session 02/03/15

On Monday the 2nd of March as a group we decided to film interviews to publish on our social media pages, for our target audience to know how the directors and the actresses felt while creating the film, as well as this giving us a chance to complete our blogging task (number 45).

All of us as a group contributed to doing the interviews. I was the person who was interviewing, Lindsey and Ogo were the people i was interviewing and Jakub edited the shots we filmed.
I really enjoyed this session as we knew what were going to ask and answer, it was really fun as we experimented a lot before we reached our final outcomes.
Jakub brought in his microphone and camera so our interviews could be more realistic. This was really exciting as it put our ideas and our production on a real life scale. We did two interviews. I did one with Lindsey(director/actress) and one with Ogo (actress).

Once we finished the interviews we decided that myself, Lindsey and Ogo will carry on with creating music/foley sounds on Garage band while Jakub edited our interviews. Creating the foley sounds was a long process as Garage band offers a wide range of sounds, this makes it more hard to find the perfect/suitable noises for our opening title sequence. After listening to many sounds we found what we needed and added that onto the soundtrack. A problem did occur during this process as we wanted to sync the sounds to particular movements in the opening sequence. We solved this by adding our opening title sequence to Garage band this allowed us to sync the sound properly, and add the sounds in the right places so that we don't make any mistakes an example of a foley sound we used is at the point 0:16 seconds on our second rough-cut.

We stayed back at lunch to complete the voice overs. We recorded the dialogue again into the microphone so it could be clear and loud so that our audience can hear what we have said/talked about. I personally think that the voice over session was needed, as when i looked back at our rough-cuts i couldn't hear the words/dialogues which were being said.

I think that in this session we got a lot done as a group. Me and my group members are planning to film and edit of Wednesday the 4th of March.
