Production:Finding the Perfect Soundtrack

The two soundtrack we chose

Choosing the soundtrack wasn't a lengthy process. I was quite familiar with music composition as i watch quite alot films and after watching them i research the soundtrack if i am very fond of it. So when researching a non copyright soundtrack it didn't take time as i would look for soundtracks related to my favorite.

Chosen Soundtracks
We these to soundtracks because it we thought it would suit the setting and tone of film. We first experimented with these soundtracks by embedding them into final cut pro to see what they would sound like. Initially they weren't going to be used as not everyone in the group was fond of it and they didn't suit the scene the way we wanted it to look. However with some editing and audio filters it sounded perfect.

On the day of adding sound to film, i was alone and decided to play around with diffrent soundtracks. I found and fell in love with 'Debris' from the 'Gravity' soundtrack. When i added it to our titlesequence my group were impressed with this piece of muisc. On the other hand to my dismay i discovered using copyight music was not only banned but would result in getting penalised or it. Not wanting to jepordise my groups marks we removed the soundtrack and Lindsey found an alternative which is despite diffrent, suits the tone of the film.

Below is the policy me and Seren had to read in order to be allowed use the clip The creator clearly stated that we can use the music without his permission for our production. But if its relgious, politcal, contraversional or for buisness we cannot. We dont meet this criteria and so can use both pieces of music
